The Perl Menace
The year was 2009. It was a period of tweeting.
Striking from a shared server, a small Perl script took the name Yodaism and began answering the twitterverse in the voice of a Jedi Master.
Every fifteen minutes it searched for the frightened, the hopeful and the rude. Those who said "I'll try" received the oldest lesson of all.
People who tweeted at Yodaism were answered. Some argued. Many said thank you. A few talked with the Master for days.
Thirteen years and 1,575,682 transmissions later, the Master's words survive in a single holocron, waiting for someone to open it.
